Port Melbourne has a team for everyone no matter your age, gender or baseball experience. From Juniors to Seniors, Womens to Masters, we have a team to suit you.

What is the path from TBall to Seniors?

We have junior teams for boys and girls of all ages. The pathway is TBall —> Under 12 —> Under 14—> Under 16 —> Under 18 —> Seniors.

However once you have turned 14, you are eligible to play both Juniors and Seniors and many players of that age choose to do both as a way to expose themselves to more baseball.

What are the fees involved with playing?

Initially a player will need to pay two fees, one to the club to cover registration and one to Baseball Victoria for insurance.

Each player may also need some uniform items such as a Playing Top, Grey Pants, Cleats and a Glove. Visit the club’s online shop or a retailer for gloves and pants and other non club items.

What is expected as a player or parent?

Players are expected to abide by the Player’s Etiquette which includes representing the club in the right manner and giving back to the club by coaching, umpiring junior games, scoring, helping in the canteen & with the Clubs Major Christmas Tree Fundraiser

Parents are expected to help out where they can and we are always looking for volunteers to score, coach, umpire, etc.

When are game days and training?

Depending on your team, trainings and games will be at a diffrent time. Seniors will train on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8pm and Mens games will be on Saturdays & Sundays (First Nine play several Tuesday Night games) Masters play Monday nights and Women on Saturdays.

Juniors will train Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-6pm and play Sundays 9-11am.

TeeBall is Thursday 5.00pm-6.00pm.
