The Port Melbourne Baseball Club is incredibly proud to celebrate one of our own — Alan “Alby” Morris.
For an extraordinary 36 consecutive years, Alby has been a cornerstone of our club, serving on the committee in countless roles — often taking on multiple responsibilities at once. His commitment, passion, and tireless work behind the scenes have helped shape the club into what it is today.
A Life Member and Hall of Famer, Alby’s contribution to the game extends far beyond our club — and it’s only fitting that he is now being recognised at the highest level.
Alby will receive a Service to Baseball Award from Baseball Victoria at their Hall of Fame event on Wednesday, 20th May.
Quite simply — our club wouldn’t be where it is today without him.
We congratulate Alby on this incredible and well-deserved honour. We are proud, grateful, and privileged to have him as part of the Port Mariners family ❤️⚾️

PREMIER 2 RESERVES ARE PREMIERS FOR THE VSBL 2025/26 SEASON!
Our Premier 2 Reserves defeated Berwick in an absolute nail biter of a game 9-8. Congratulations to both teams, it was a game you want to watch when coming to a grand final. Thank you too all our players, coaches, scorers, umpires for your hard work and dedication throughout the season. CARN PORT!
